My Derby Name...

Derby is about your alter ego. I'm told I look like Abby from NCIS and I love Pauley Perrette who plays Abby. So my alter ego became Abbylicious. 

How Roller Derby saved my soul...

I have become more outgoing and not afraid to be out in public. Derby doesn't care what size you are and that is what is awesome.

What prompted you to join?

When your little everyone asks you what you want to be when you grow up. I wanted to be either a horse jockey, figure skater or a roller derby girl. Loved watching banked track roller derby every Saturday. A friend told me there was a team and after a few weeks I went to a practice. One out of three isn't bad. I love being able to say I'm living my dream as a derby girl.

Follow your dreams and never give up.
